Me and my little sister in Athens in 2019.
The best way to spark philosophical thinking is through conversations. Following the footsteps of Socrates, I always strive to create a classroom where a genuine philosophical dialogue between me and the students can happen. My role as the instructor goes beyond being a mere knowledge presenter and the role of the students goes beyond being mere knowledge receivers.
Students can only learn philosophy by doing it themselves: actively thinking about what philosophical positions and arguments they are sympathetic to, being challenged by arguments from the opposite side, and refining their own positions and reasoning accordingly.
